I grew up in the Dallas area. I completed my nursing and Spanish degrees at UT Tyler and my pediatric nurse practitioner degree at TWU. I worked in the pulmonology unit at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and worked with special needs children in the home health setting in Austin before joining CSCC in 2015.
