I was born in Boston and moved to Houston in 1989 and have been here since. From an early age I loved science and knew I wanted to pursue medicine. While attending HBU I was given the opportunity to travel to Juarez and help the less fortunate kids. Upon returning from my trip, I had realized I was drawn to helping children. I loved their innocence and ability to believe in miracles.
In my spare time I love watching movies, painting and spending time with my family. I am a proud mother of one boy and love watching him grow and develop into his dad.
- Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Arts from HBU, Magna Cum Laude
- Medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
- Internship and residency from Texas A&M, Scott and White Health Science Center.
