I grew up in Tomball. I attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 1996. I graduated in 1998 from TWU - Houston Campus. I earned my Masters of Nursing degree from University of Texas School of Nursing in Houston. I began working at Texas Children's Hospital in 2005 after completing my boards exam for Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I worked in the urology clinic for 4 years and transitioned to cardiology for 2 years. While working as a cardiology nurse practitioner I began attending University of Texas College of Nursing in Arlington,Texas. I obtained my Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and began working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Texas Children's Hospital in 2011. I joined Children's Specialty Care Clinic in October 2016.
